Saint Leo University’s Basic Security Management Certificate was developed to provide a viable conduit to military and law enforcement personnel as well as those seeking a mid-career change as they transition from the public sector to private sector of Corporate Security. The certification program is designed to provide participants a basic foundation in fundamental tenets of corporate security. After successful completion of all requirements with an 80 % grade or higher, a student will receive a digital badge that can be placed on a resume or within social media in order to verify attained knowledge and achieved skills. A digital badge is portable, verifiable, and linked to the student.
The security management certificate will consist of 40 hours, 10 hours per module. Students will be graded individually on each module and must demonstrate competency in assigned tasks before moving on to the next module.

- Physical Security Management
- Finance for Security Managers
- Human Resources for Security Manager
